This guide explains how to connect ChatGPT to Clipsource admin using Clipsource MCP. Once connected, you can use ChatGPT to find information in Clipsource and create press release drafts directly in admin, without having to copy and paste.
 

Before you start

You'll need your existing Clipsource account and the Clipsource MCP server URL to complete the connection (TBD where to find it).
 

How to connect

You only need to set up the connection once.

1. Open the Clipsource MCP connection page and copy the MCP server URL (TBD how shared).
2. In ChatGPT, open Plugins and select Add → Create MCP App.
3. Enter Clipsource Admin as the name.
4. Under Server URL, paste the URL you copied from Clipsource.
5. Select OAuth as the authentication method. Leave the other settings unchanged and complete the setup.
6. When prompted, sign in to your Clipsource account and select Allow to authorise the connection.
    

Start using Clipsource in ChatGPT

Once connected, you'll find Clipsource Admin under Plugins in ChatGPT. Open the plugin and select Try in chat to start a conversation.

Removing the connection

To remove the connection, open the Clipsource Admin plugin in ChatGPT and select Delete plugin.
