This guide explains how to connect Claude to Clipsource Admin using Clipsource MCP. Once connected, you can use Claude to find information in Clipsource and create press release drafts directly in admin, without having to copy and paste.
 

Before you start

You'll need your existing Clipsource account and the Clipsource MCP server URL to complete the connection (TBD where to find it).

Using Claude Team or Enterprise? Your organisation's administrator may need to add or enable the Clipsource Admin connector before you can connect your account.
 

How to connect

You only need to set up the connection once.

1. Open Claude and go to Customize → Connectors.
2. Select Add → Custom → Web to add a custom connector.
3. Enter Clipsource Admin as the connector name.
4. Paste the Clipsource MCP server URL and select Continue.
5. Review the authentication settings and select Continue.
6. Under Authentication, select Sign in now. Keep the recommended OAuth client option unless instructed otherwise.
7. Select Add to complete the setup.
8. If prompted, sign in to your Clipsource account and select Allow to authorise the connection.

Start using Clipsource in Claude

Once connected, you'll find Clipsource Admin under Customize → Connectors.

To use it in a conversation, open a chat, select + → Connectors and make sure Clipsource Admin is enabled.

Removing the connection

To remove the connection, go to Customize → Connectors, find Clipsource Admin and select Remove from its options.
