The menu bar items to your press site can be renamed and re-positioned. If you have access to the feature Pages you can also add menu items, linking to additional pages.
Menus include Main menu (top), Footer menu (bottom) and Footer bottom (next to Terms & conditions).
Added Menu items will be accessible by logged in users only.
Enter Menus via the Media center side menu. The Menu page lists all Menu links connected to published pages. It also displays to what menu and position menu links appear.
Rename and re-position an existing menu item
Menu items can easily be renamed and re-positioned. To rename, click on the edit icon to the right of the menu name. Change the name and choose Update to save changes.
You can also decide to what menu/s it should appear by checking the boxes.
To decide order of how menu items appear in top and bottom menu, you change the position number. One (1) positions it furthest out to the left and ten (10) positions menu items furthest to the right. Always Update to save changes.
Add and remove menu items
All listed menu items are connected to a Page and will appear/disappear in the admin menu list upon publishing/unpublishing a Page (to create or manage an existing Page, go to Pages in the admin menu).
Listed menu items in admin that are blue (linked) can be removed by an admin user.
Listed items that are black in admin (not linked) can only be managed by Clipsource support.
A menu item will not be visible on your press site front page until you have decided where it should appear and to what position - see above on how to manage and display menu items to front end.
You can create a Page without displaying it in menus. Just create and publish a page and share the URL with users who should access the page. For information on how to retrieve the URL, see How do I add Pages?
Don't have access to Pages?
