Once you've connected your AI assistant to Clipsource Admin, you can use it to find information, prepare content and create press release drafts directly in Media Center.
This guide walks you through a typical PR workflow, with example prompts and tips to help you get started.
The information and actions available through your AI assistant depend on which Clipsource modules you have access to.
1. Create a press release draft
When you're ready to prepare a press release, ask your assistant to use the programme information to create a draft.
Example prompt:
Using the available programme information in Clipsource, create a press release draft for [programme title] and save it in Media Center.
Your assistant can create the draft directly in Clipsource, without you having to copy and paste the text.
The draft remains unpublished until you review and publish it in Media Center.
2. Refine your content
Once you've created a press release draft, you can continue working with your AI assistant to improve the text. Ask it to suggest a stronger headline, rewrite the introduction or adjust the tone and length.
Example prompt:
Suggest a more engaging headline and shorten the introduction, keeping the tone professional and informative.
You can continue refining the content through follow-up instructions until you're happy with the result.
Note for internal review: Confirm whether the AI assistant can update an existing unpublished draft directly in Media Center, or whether revisions must be added manually. [Remove before publication.]
3. Discover upcoming premieres
If you have access to the Schedules module, you can ask your AI assistant to find upcoming premieres and help you plan your PR activities.
Example prompt:
What programmes are premiering in December?
You can then ask your assistant to organise the results, highlight important dates or help identify programmes that may need PR attention.
Try following up with:
Organise the premieres by date and suggest which programmes we should prioritise for PR.
4. Gather programme information
You can ask your AI assistant to find and bring together programme information available in Clipsource, helping you prepare content without having to search for details manually.
Example prompt:
Find the available information about [programme title] in Clipsource and summarise the key details.
You can follow up by asking for specific information, such as the synopsis, cast, premiere date or available images.
Try following up with:
Which details would be most relevant to include in a press release about this programme?
4. Refine your content
You can continue working with your AI assistant to improve the content. For example, ask it to suggest a stronger headline, rewrite an introduction or adjust the tone.
Example prompt:
Make the headline more engaging, shorten the introduction and give the text a more conversational tone.
You can continue refining the wording through conversation until you're happy with the result.
Note: Updating an existing unpublished draft directly in Media Center through your AI assistant is subject to confirmation. [Remove or update this note before publication.]
5. Review and publish
Once your press release draft has been created, you'll find it in the Posts listing in Clipsource admin, ready for review.
Before publishing, check that programme details, dates, names and other factual information are correct. You can also make any final adjustments to the content in Media Center.
Your AI assistant cannot publish or distribute content on your behalf. You remain in control of the final review and publication.
Tips for better results

- Check your sources: Ask the assistant to distinguish between information retrieved from Clipsource and any external information or suggestions.
-
Review before publishing: Always verify important details and review AI-generated content before using it.
