Connect your AI assistant, such as ChatGPT or Claude, to Clipsource Admin using MCP (Model Context Protocol). Once connected, you can find information and perform supported tasks directly through your AI assistant, reducing the need to switch between applications.
What can you do with it?
Once connected to Clipsource, your AI assistant can help you find information, work with content and create drafts directly in Clipsource admin.
Depending on your access permissions, you can:
- Create content: Use programme information from Clipsource to prepare press releases and save them as drafts directly in Media Center, without copying and pasting.
- Find information: Search the Schedules module for upcoming premieres, prioritise key dates and identify programmes that may need PR attention.
- Gather and organise material: Bring together information from different parts of Clipsource, organise results and prioritise what to work on.
- Develop and refine content: Summarise information, explore different angles and adjust the wording, tone or length of your drafts.
You can start with a simple question or give more detailed instructions, then continue refining the results through conversation.

What can your AI assistant access?
Your AI assistant connects using your existing Clipsource account and can only access the same companies, modules and information as you do when you sign in to Clipsource.
Drafts created through your AI assistant follow the same access and visibility rules as drafts created manually in Clipsource.
You remain responsible for reviewing and publishing any content created through your AI assistant.
Your AI assistant cannot publish or distribute content, change user permissions or edit published posts.
Where does the information come from?
Your AI assistant can combine information from Clipsource with its general knowledge and external sources, such as the web.
If you want your AI assistant to use only information from Clipsource, specify this in your prompt. You can also ask your assistant to distinguish between information from Clipsource, external sources and its own suggestions.
How sources are handled and displayed depends on your AI service, so always review important information before using it.
Is my information shared with others?
Your conversations with your AI assistant are not automatically shared with other Clipsource users or colleagues.
When you connect Clipsource to an AI assistant, information retrieved from Clipsource is shared with your AI service to answer your questions and carry out your requests.
How this information and your conversations are stored, used or shared depends on your AI provider, subscription, settings and agreements.
