The archive feature allows you to keep Mediabox updated, displaying programs that are current and relevant for your daily work.
Archiving programs that are unpublished gives a better overview in Mediabox of the program titles that are actually published. A program can be archived in full or partly archived, moving seasons and episodes only. A program that is archived can be moved back into the list of current program titles to be published again.
'Archived programs' can be found in the left menu in Mediabox.
Archive a program
Click the settings icon next to the title (program, season or episode, depending on what part/s you want to archive). Choose 'Archive' in the drop down menu. A modal will appear asking you to confirm that you want to move the item. Click 'Archive' to move the item. The archived item and all its contents will now appear in 'Archived programs'.
Unarchive programs
To move a program from Archive, click the settings icon next to the title and choose 'Unarchive' in the drop down. Confirm you want to move the item by clicking 'Unarchive'. The title will now appear in your current program list.
Archiving published programs
There is nothing stopping a published program to be archived. The green published button next to a title will tell if a program or any related events to a program are published, offering the possibility to review if the program should in fact be archived.
If a published program is archived it will automatically unpublish from the press web. If a program is published to a schedule, the event will be updated to TBA.
An archived program, related events and content can at any point be 'Unarchived' to be published again.
Overview of unarchived programs
The 'Archived programs' list gives an overview program titles, also displaying the type, season and/or episode number for programs that has only been partly archived.
You can also filter on unarchived programs in the current program catalogue on all levels, using the drop down menu.
Any program, or parts of a program that is archived will display an archived icon.
