You can easily import contact lists into your Media Center by following these steps.
Before you begin
- Prepare your contact list as a CSV file (Comma-Separated Values), which can be exported from Excel, Numbers, or other spreadsheet programs.
- Ensure that your file is UTF-8 encoded and includes at least an email address for each contact. Other optional fields include name, company, phone number, and country.
- Important: When importing contacts into the Media Center, an invitation email is automatically sent to them.
Step 1: Start the import process
- Go to your Dashboard.
- In the left-hand menu, click on contacts.
- Go to the actions tab and select actions (top right).
- Choose import contacts.
Step 2: Choose your import method
You'll be prompted to choose between:
- CSV importer – upload a CSV file with your contact data.
Copy/paste – manually copy and paste contact details from another source.
Step 3: Map your data
Once your file is uploaded, you'll see a preview of your data.
- Use the dropdown menus to assign each column to the correct field (e.g., email, name, company, country).
- Click Select group and choose the group where you want to add the contacts.
Step 4: Complete the import
- Click the "import" button to finalise the process.
- Note: When importing contacts an invitation email will be sent automatically.
Step 5: Confirmation
Once the import is complete, you will receive a confirmation email.
Your contacts are now successfully imported!
